TODAY’S picture from the Worcester News archives dates back to June 1992, when mobile caterers hit out at criticism that their caravans were not hygienic. One of them was Ted Pratt, who parked in the layby near Bransford Bridge. He said: “I keep my caravan spotless and spend every Sunday cleaning it thoroughly,” and added council inspectors were welcome to come and take a look any time.
