THE Hive library has organised fun events for Shakespeare week.

The national celebration of the English poet, playwright and actor, is being held between March 18 and 24.

The Butts-based library is holding the events of the weekend of Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24.

Each day, between 10am and 1.45pm, there will be magical make and take event, where participants can create their own magical flower.

Booking in advance is essential, and costs £2.50.

Also on each day there will be a Midsummer Nights Dream Rat-a-Tat Tales event taking place between 11am and 2.45pm.

The event promises to give participants the chance to join library staff in the woods to discover the power of the magical flower, and where the King and Queen of the Fairies are being mischievous, giving people the chance to make or break friendships.
