A DRIVER has admitted driving in Worcester with cannabis in her bloodstream.
Jamie Smith, aged 41, of Avon Road, Worcester, was stopped by police in Lowesmoor on December 26 at about 8.30am.
A roadside drug test proved positive, and a subsequent blood test found cannabis in her blood.
Jo Outhwaite, for Smith, who had admitted the charge, said: "She lost her dad a couple of years ago, and had been having a hard time.
"She accepts that she had used cannabis the night before and she had gone out to pick her partner up for work.
"She simply didn't appreciate that it would remain in her system for so long."
She was disqualified for a year and fined £200 with £135 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
