Year 4 children whose dance was inspired by an ancient Maya folktale, 'The Chocolate Tree'.
CHILDREN at Stanley Road Primary School took part in a celebration of dance and music, called ‘Dance Share’.
The event enabled the children to choreograph a dance which they later performed to an audience of parents.
Each class contributed a dance based on their study of a book.
The school said it meant children were able to develop their understanding of professional performances and demonstrated great confidence when performing to a larger audience.
