THE Swan Theatre Amateur Company will be auditioning today (March 14) for a studio production of While We’re Here, by Barney Norris.
The director will be John Lines and the production will run from Tuesday June 11 to Saturday, June 15.
A spokesman said: "Eddie and Carol were lovers once but their lives went in a different direction. Now they meet again in a town full of memories and find something still burns between them.
“Over five short acts, Norris gives us intense bursts of conversation that gradually amount to remarkably deep character studies. It is a play of little moments with a big impact.”
Carol lives alone in her modest, tidy home on the south coast.
Eddie has been sleeping rough after falling on hard times.
Both characters are in their forties of fifties.
The spokesman said: "This two hander is a great opportunity for two actors."
Auditions at the Swan Lower Studio, Worcester this evening, from 7.35pm to 8.30pm.
