A CAR was stopped by Police in Powick yesterday morning.
A witness, who did not want to be named, said he was travelling back to Worcester from Malvern along Malvern Road when he saw a police car parked up by the right turning for Upton-upon-Severn.
He claimed that as they went past the petrol station on the right a policeman came out from behind the wall and threw a stinger across the road.
Police also reportedly tagged a Renault which carried on round the bend towards Malvern with four flat tyres followed by several marked and unmarked police cars.
West Mercia Police confirmed the vehicle had been stopped as part of a wider investigation.
