THE August Bank Holiday weekend sees Camper Calling returning to Ragley Hall in Alcester - and organisers say it will be better than ever.

The festival features more than 40 artists including Skunk Anansie, Ash, Tony Christie, Craig Charles and The Christians amongst other acts The Fratellis, The Feeling, and Sleeper.

The event intends to establish itself as the Midlands's finest family friendly, boutique music festival with several live music stages, craft workshops, street food, beers, and loads of activities.

The brainchild of the team behind Camper Jam at Weston Park, the festival provides an all-embracing family festival experience with a camping holiday.

Camper Calling director Shelley Mears said: "It’s a true honour to welcome such legends to our festival. I believe that this is our strongest line up yet!

"Britrock mainstays Skunk Anansie are beyond thrilling as a live act. The Fratellis, The Feeling, Ash and Sleeper are also Brit-pop icons and masters of big sing-along indie anthems! And let’s not forget Tony Christie – a living legend who’s sure to get the whole festival up on their feet. I for one can’t wait."

The festival returns to its majestic lakeside location of Ragley Hall in Warwickshire from August 23 to 25.

Festival goers do not need to own a camper van to attend.
