READERS have been having their say after it was revealed a unit at the former Greek restaurant in the city centre is to be turned into a new burger restaurant.
The Worcester News reported yesterday that a unit at the former Yamas restaurant is to become Big A’s Burgers, with the new owner hoping to open to the public next week.
After hearing the news, a readers wrote on our website: "Probably the most sensible options of food choice chosen, given the history of the tenant turnover this place has experienced in the decades.
"Good luck."
Danielle Lloyd said: "So many businesses have opened and closed there over the years it’s unbelievable.
"Someone open a vegan restaurant there. It’s the way forward."
Johnny Short said: "Nothing lasts here long because it’s too far out of the way," while Mark Garness said: "That place has never done well."
Andy Daniel said: "More burgers? Worcester's going to turn in to one big gourmet burger," and Jon Baker added: "Another burger shop, just what we needed."
