TODAY'S picture from the archive of the Worcester News dates back to August 1999, and the last day of the Metal Castings Sports and Social Club. The club at Droitwich Road was full to capacity, with people queuing up to enjoys the event which lasted until the early hours. The club had to close after the land its stood on was earmarked for the development of a lorry park.
