THE Zoots are coming to Worcester's Huntingdon Hall and they're bringing the Sounds of the 60s with them, with a musical stroll down Memory Lane.

The hit parade wonders of half a century ago and even more will raise the rafters and set toes tapping, with a ride through golden haze of tuneful nostalgia.

A spokesman said: "Experience the Sixties show that has wowed audiences around the world, selling out and headlining venues from the Palladium to Old Trafford, with the spectacular Sounds of the 60s show from The Zoots!

“The Zoots are here to make your whole family bop to the '60s beats that everybody loves. With legendary numbers by The Beatles, The Stones, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Searchers, The Four Seasons, Elvis and dozens more of your favourite artists, feel the groove that has so far thrilled audiences of stage and screen in more than 30 countries, with over 1,000 performances to date!”

The award-winning band is made up of four ‘groovy cats’, apparently, and one ‘cool chick’.

The spokesman added: "Leading the way on vocals and guitar is frontman Jamie Goddard, alongside Adam Woodhouse and bass guitarist Tommy Lloyd. Backing them all the way is Ian Bostic on drums and Harriet Lowther, who will be tapping out some neat percussive beats. With over 10 years in the industry, there’s no question that the band really knows how to put on a good show.

"The Zoots’ authentic Sixties harmonies have won the hearts of critics and audiences alike. In 2018 The Zoots won the title of Best Pop Music Cover Band (UK) at the Global Entertainment Awards, and in 2017 were voted Best Band at the UK Wedding Awards.

"Discover why national critics are calling The Zoots 'impressive', 'authentic', and 'impossible not to like' when they swing by Huntingdon Hall, this spring."

The date for the diary is Friday April 12, from 7.30pm.
