NEAR-MISS: Sandwell Council spoke to the taxi driver about driving into oncoming traffic in New Road, Worcester
A TAXI driver has been allowed to keep his licence, despite driving the wrong way down a city road.
The driver, who was caught on camera driving into oncoming traffic in New Road, Worcester, apologised for his actions.
Brookfleet Cars, based in Rowley Regis, said the driver was new to the city and had received an official warning over the incident.
A spokesman for Sandwell Council added that it had spoken to the driver and would take no further action.
