A YOUTH theatre is getting ready to follow the yellow brick road to its next production.
Lollipop Youth Theatre is a not for profit musical theatre club based in Worcester for children aged 5- 19. It was set up by Holly Fields when she left University of Worcester in 2016. Miss Fields wanted to set up an inclusive theatre company for children who wanted to give performing a go but might not have the confidence to do so. The theatre company was given a National Lottery grant of £10,000 in January.
Last year Lollipop performed 'Oliver' at Norbury Theatre in Droitwich. The company is now rehearsing for a performance of 'The Wizard Of Oz', also to be held at Norbury from July 25 until July 27. Visit norburytheatre.co.uk or call 01905 770154 for tickets.
