Those Were The Days: the music, the comedy, the feel good factor - these can all be experienced again in May, at The Swan Theatre in Worcester

A spokesman said: "Join three award-winning artistes in this fast-moving variety rollercoaster as we remember the 50s, 60s and more.

"Join comedian Lee Carroll as he recalls his early life; the TV shows, the school days, and the things your mother said."

The spokesman added: " Lee has been making waves on the comedy circuit over his 25-year career in the industry and has performed up and down the country, taking to the stage at some of the most impressive venues around.

"Lee’s off-the-cuff and observational humour is fresh and surprising, leaving audiences stunned and in stitches. Lee’s significant media exposure saw him burst onto screens with The Comedians, The Little and Large Show and The Young Ones. He was on The Bobby Davro Show and was given his own segment Stand and Deliver Lee Carroll for Sky TV."

Joining Lee is award-winning variety club vocalist Lynn Sweet, "who will be singing the memorable songs of Dusty, Cilla, Lulu, Petula Clark and more".

The spokesman added: "Lynn has been entertaining audiences all over the world for many years as the headline cabaret vocalist on luxury cruise liners. Apart from her wonderful achievements at sea, she has a wealth of experience in the theatre, with more than fifteen pantomime appearances in both principal boy and girl roles. Lynn also appeared in the touring musical theatre production of That’s Showbiz for Qdos.

"And finally it’s all about Buddy, when leading tribute star Paul Birch takes to the stage with all the hits from the legendary Buddy Holly! This is foot-tapping, sing-along entertainment and laugh out loud comedy combined, all under one roof at the Swan Theatre! It’s entertainment as it used to be: yes, Those Were The Days!"

The date for the diary is Friday May 17.
