FIREFIGHTERS were called to the River Ouse north of York following reports of a boat taking on water with people on board.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Acomb, Huntington, Ripon and Richmond went to Linton on Ouse, near Easingwold, at 2.36pm yesterday.
A spokesperson said they found the owners and dogs safely on dry ground and the boat secured.
