THEY have to be done, but no-one ever likes them... Today’s old picture from the Worcester News archive dates from April 1994, when, as on many occasions before and since, the city was besieged by roadworks. One of those complaining was Peter Hornby, proprietor of the petrol station at the top end of Castle Street, who said that his sales had fallen by £1,000 a day since the work, to replace sewage pipes, had begun.
