A BURST water main which caused chaos in Halesowen town centre yesterday (Tuesday) - has been fixed.
South Staffs Water repaired the burst main on the High Street.
But a road closure will remain in place till this afternoon (Wednesday) while the road is patched up.
The water firm said: "We've repaired the burst water main on Halesowen High Street and supplies should back to normal, however customers may notice some discolouration or cloudiness in their water, in which case they should leave the tap running for 15 - 20 minutes until it clears.
"We would like to thank customers for their patience while the repair has been carried out.
"The road closure will remain in place from the roundabout on A458 through to Queensway until this afternoon, while we carry out reinstatement works on the road."
Halesowen C of E Primary on High Street had been forced to close yesterday, as it did not have a water supply.
Other businesses and homes in the area also lost water.
