Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor a lucky horseshoe to raise funds for the Pershore war horse memorial project.
The idea was forged by Sue Cosnett who, along with the craftsmanship of local blacksmith Steven Ellis Cooper, Wychavon District Council and the people of Pershore, will be unveiling a life size war horse memorial sculpture constructed of horseshoes.
For £5 for a business or an adult and £2.50 for a child, you can sponsor one of the horseshoes that will be used in the horse. The name of the sponsor will be written on a plaque positioned by the sculpture.
