A MULTI-CULTURAL dance event will raise money to help local charities.

Dancer Sabira Mollah set up Unity Arts in Worcester, which aims to unify communities, cultures and the arts.

“I love to dance, in fact I love all forms of art.

"My expertise includes Modern Indian dance, Bharatanaytam, Kathak, Manipuri, Bollywood, Indian Folk dances including Bhangra, contemporary dance, a bit of Latin dance, such as salsa, bachata, kizomba), and various other dances.”

“For the past eight years I have dedicated my time to my autistic daughter who taught me a lot about myself and life.

"I realised my various difficulties and learnt to overcome them.”

Unity Arts raises funds for charities that benefit local communities, holding events for charities to help those in need.

The charity supports multiculturism in society and offers everyone opportunities to participate in ethnic influenced arts.

Sabrina is organising an evening of Bharatanaytam, Kathak with modern Indian dance, Bollywood dance, Bhangra dance and a three course Indian meal.

In addition, there will be Salsa with guest teacher Franklyn Hylton.

The dance event will raise money for Snoezelen and Dancefest.
