Pop-rockers Busted have been announced as the final headliner for the Sunshine Music Festival this August Bank Holiday weekend, joining an already jam packed line up for the festival’s tenth year.
Formed in 2000, Brit Award winning Busted were one of the biggest pop success stories of the early noughties, with their hugely successful debut album Busted spawning five hit singles – What I Go to School For, Year 3000, You Said No, Sleeping with the Light On and Crashed the Wedding.
A spokesman said: “Their appearance at Sunshine promises festival goers one of their famously high energy performances with nostalgia galore, as well as music from their new album Half Way There.
Their appearance will be mark the last of the band’s 2019 summer shows. The tenth annual Sunshine Music Festival, held in Upton Upon Severn, Worcestershire, will play host to music from Scouting For Girls, Peter Andre, Boyzlife, East17, SClub, The Osmonds, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Claire Sweeney, Judge Jules and many more from August 23 to August 25.
