POLICE are set to tackle anti-social motorcycle riding on land on the Malvern Vale area of Malvern.

Residents of Randell Road reported a rider using an off-road bike on the land between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday.

Police say it was being ridden "on a public footpath in an anti-social manner".

A force spokesman said: "Riding off road motorbikes can be a popular pastime.

"However, these vehicles can also be used in a dangerous, noisy and anti-social way, generating lots of complaints to police.

"This can result in prosecution for the rider and in some cases the parents, who are held accountable for the actions of their children."
