Will Pound’s Through the Seasons show "gives audiences a chance to experience a journey through the year of folk dance through an original artistic collaboration of exceptional musicianship and spellbinding storytelling".

Even better, its coming to Worcester's Huntingdon Hall, and soon.

A spokesman added: "The event showcases stunning arrangements of traditional dance tunes and songs, bringing their innovative and playful style to life through music, image and spoken word, with all the joy of a summer’s festival to the thrill of a winter’s fireside rapper sword-dance.

"Through the Seasons brings the Morris and folk dance year to life through the music which fills streets, pubs and venues up and down the country. From the excitement of Northumberland rapper dance to the precision of Cotswold jigs, Will and a host of skilled musicians show the vivacity and diversity of the year in folk dance through beautiful arrangements in the songs."

One of the finest harmonica players of his generation, Will Pound has pushed the boundaries working on a number of projects and musicians which in the past and present include The Will Pound Band, Martin Simpson, Guy Chambers, Concerto Caledonia, Michelle Burke’s Step into my Parlour and The Hillsborough Charity Single.

Will has been nominated 3 times for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician Of The Year Award in 2012, 2014 and 2015, has won FATEA Magazine Instrumentalist Of the Year 2013, 2014 and also was nominated for Songlines Magazine best newcomer.

Joining Will on tour are Debs Newbold (storyteller, writer), Benji Kirkpatrick (Bellowhead, Faustus, The Transports) on bouzouki, banjo, mandolin and vocals, and Ross Grant (Inlay) on violin and vocals.

The spokesman added: "Don’t miss these incredible musicians playing in the intimate and beautiful setting of Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall on June 20 at 7.30pm.
