DUDLEY South MP Mike Wood is set to host his fourth Older Peoples’ Information Fair this Friday (June 28).
The event will be held at Wordsley Community Centre from 10.30am to 1.30pm and is open to anyone in the area to attend.
Admission is free for all and tea and coffee will also be available throughout the event.
A variety of companies and organisations will be showcasing what they can offer for older people and those approaching retirement in Dudley South.
Google, Trading Standards and West Midland Police will be running break-out sessions on important topics including scam awareness, staying safe online and personal crime prevention alongside regular stallholders.
Mr Wood said: “This will be a fantastic opportunity for Dudley South residents to see what’s out there in the community for them to benefit from.
“I try to hold a few events throughout the year that will each appeal to different areas of our community, so I hope our older residents and those approaching retirement will find it useful and informative.
“Building on the success of last year’s event, I am looking forward to meeting some more local people and hopefully provide them with a really valuable event.”
