A POPULAR summer show which displays the best of British agriculture, equine and rural life returns for the the 72nd year on Saturday July 6.

 This year’s Hanbury Countryside Show promises to be the most exciting ever with a wealth of activities and entertainment to keep all the family occupied throughout the day.

With over 700 exhibitors and 200 trade stands, thousands of people are again anticipated to flock to the annual event which showcases all things rural. 

 Activities and show attractions include:   

 - Equine and livestock competitions and displays

- Have a go fly tying/fly casting 

- Have a go archery 

- Air rifle range 

- Aldabra giant tortoises display 

- Dog and duck show 

- Craft marquee

- Steam & historical vehicles 

- Showjumping 

- Ferret roadshow 

- Parade of the Worcestershire fox hounds

- Parade of Warwickshire beagles 

- Farrier competitions 

- Horse shoe making competitions

- Grand parade of championship livestock  

- Fairground rides/amusements 

- Face painting 

- Wildlife Displays 

- Public bar 

The first event of the day, the showjumping, takes place at 9.15am, with the ferret world roadshow at 5.45pm bring a close to the activities.
