AN 18-year-old from Worcester has been listed as missing as the search continues today for a young man seen falling from the Sabrina Bridge into the River Severn.

Police this morning said an 18-year-old from Worcester has been officially recorded as missing.

The force did not give his name, but he has been named on social media as Alessandro Frumenzi.

A spokesman said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to identify a man in connection with an investigation into a report of someone falling from Sabrina Bridge in Worcester.

"The man in the photo has now been identified as an 18-year-old from Worcester and has been recorded as missing.

"The search of the river is ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 29 June) morning, or has any other information that could help, to get in touch."

Anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident 42s of 29 June 2019.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
