Police are still continuing their search for Suzy Lamplugh.

An eyewitness said temporary traffic lights have been installed on the B4084, causing long queues.

Police vans were seen in a layby off the A44 just outside Drakes Broughton, with officers digging in the field behind, last week.

Now, police have been seen with poles using them to probe the ground in a systematic fashion towards the entrance to the village of Drakes Broughton.

Official vehicles have been seen parked at the side of the road.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, which are heading the search in partnership with West Mercia Police, said the search is on-going and they would not disclose a finish date.

Suzy Lamplugh was an estate agent, born in Cheltenham, who went missing in July 1986 in Fulham, London.

She was officially declared dead, presumed murdered, in 1994.

Her disappearance is generally considered one of the most puzzling mysteries of recent decades.

This is an on-going story that will be updated.
