Sir, I am surprised by the Police and Crime Commissioners insistence to take over the governance of the Fire Service in the region.  Hasn't Mr Campion got enough to keep him busy with Police business?

I feel a decision as important as this, should have gone to ballot, as Councillor Roger Phillips proposed. Too many public services are cut or amalgamated these days, and not, may I add, in the

Public interest or safety.

And as for wasting public money which he has accused Councillor Phillips of, does Mr. Campion so quickly forget the "fiasco" of the "police number plate saga?"  Who wasted public money then!!

I am sorry but I for one do not trust Mr. Campion to make brilliant decisions!

Sincerely

Anne Jordan,

Evesham
