Joe Brown was a rock 'n' roll legend before The Beatles were the Fab Four.
And the good news is, he has a special gig in Worcester.
A spokesman said: "Premier rock ‘n’ roll legend Joe Brown has had a long and successful career, and there’s no sign of slowing down just yet as he embarks on his 60th anniversary tour.
"It was over half a century ago in 1958, that Joe joined his first band, the Spacemen Skiffle Group, at the age of just 17. Three years later he was the resident lead guitarist on producer Jack Good’s ground-breaking TV show Boy Meets Girls. He found himself backing visiting American stars like Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Johnny Cash, and Joe’s rockabilly lead guitar can even be heard all over Bill Fury’s classic 1960 album The Sound of Fury."
His The Very Best Of album went gold, staying eight weeks in the UK Top 20.
The dates for the diary are Thursday September 19 and Friday September 20 at The Swan Theatre.
