A schoolgirl donated her long hair to charity to celebrate her grandmother's birthday.
Lillie Quoroll donated sixteen inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust - and raised £750 as well.
Lillie, from Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College, decided to take on the challenge after her grandmother turned 70 and asked family members to do charity work instead of giving presents.
She initially planned to give ten inches but agreed to offer more after reading that the charity needed longer lengths. The money will go towards paying for a wig to be made.
Lillie's mother Jo Quoroll said "I’m really proud of her mature attitude, she took it all in her stride!"
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to people with children and young people with hair loss.
