WE asked The Worcester News readers where they like to get a pizza in the city.

And they gave us some fabulous recommendations.

Melissa Flynn said: "Definitely Turn and Burn at Wintrip brewery! (The Oil Basin) Fantastic pizza!"

Jay Bullock thinks Zizzi on The High Street is the best: "Zizzi, fact! They have got a proper pizza oven."

Phil Taylor said: "Without a doubt Benedictos. Given added bonus points due to their gluten free pizza which tastes practically no different then the real thing which is a big plus. Most GF pizzas taste like cardboard so I know one person who’s very happy they can have as close to the real thing as you can get."

"Gianluca was very welcoming to us as well when we first moved to the area, so they are number one on our nights out list!"

Mr Taylor is not the only one who voted Benedicto's. Jane Charles said: "Benedictos in Worcester, but the best Italian restaurant has to be Casa la Cucina in Evesham, not just for the pizza but everything."

Tiago Sousa is a fan of Caspian Pizza in Sidbury. Mr Sousa said: I've used Caspian for many years. Their California Chicken is so good."

Matt Bird agreed: "Second vote for Caspian. Caspian Special- thin crust, no olives but jalapeños instead with garlic and herb dip."

Rachael Everton enjoys The Swan at Whittington. "The Swan- seriously delicious and they do gluten free and vegetarian/vegan ones too!"

Omber Hussain on the other hand, loves Munchies in Lowesmoor so much that he has a pizza three times a week.

Mr Hussain said: "I say Munchies thin crust pizza is the best, oh my days it is delicious! You can’t beat it, made with love. I have it three times a week by delivery and it's nice and warm. You can’t go wrong..mwaaaah love it! Go Munchies!"

Imran Idrees agreed: "Munchies In Lowesmoor. You can’t beat them. Best Pizza in Worcester."

Kelly Wallace said: "I vote Munchies in Lowesmoor."

Mohammed Murtza said: "Munchies gets my vote."

And the votes for Munchies kept on flooding in making this the most popular spot for a pizza in Worcester.
