Members of the Swan Theatre Amateur Company (STACS) have been out and about practising their rowing and fire-lighting skills ready for their expedition to Neville’s Island at The Swan Theatre in Worcester.
The run will be from October 23 to October 26.
A spokesman said: “In this brilliant comedy by Tim Firth four out-of-condition businessmen on a team-building exercise in the Lake District find themselves shipwrecked on an island in Derwentwater.
“Menaced by wildlife and cut off from the world, this corporate adventure turns into a carnival of recrimination, French cricket and sausages.
“What should have been a bonding process for Gordon, Angus, Roy and Neville becomes a muddy fight for survival because, when night sets in and the fog descends, strange things happen out in the wilds.”
Director Jason Moseley said: “This is such a funny and well-observed play that the cast are still laughing at their own lines.”
Tickets are available from Worcester Live box office at Huntingdon Hall and by calling 01905 611427.
