Traffic measures will be put in place as part of the junction 6 improvement scheme which will see a widening of the roundabout and other changes.

It is anticipated that there will be a number of evening and night-time closures required in the next few months.

As part of the improvement scheme, Highways will widen the roundabout, the slip roads and all the approaches. They will also add an extra lane to the roundabout and put traffic signals on the A449 and the A4538 Pershore Lane south approaches.

To complete this work safely, Highways will put the following traffic management in place:

* Narrow Lanes in place on the roundabout and all approaches.

* 50mph speed limit in place reducing down to 30mph.

* Barrier in place on the M5 and A4440 and A449 approaches.

* Free recovery service in place on both Highways England and Worcestershire County Council network.

*Daytime Off-peak (9.30am to 3.00pm) lane closures.

*Nightime Off-peak (8pm to 6am) full closures and lane closures.

*Narrow lanes in place with free recovery service.

Workmen will put fully signed diversion routes in place for any full carriageway closures.
