This week pubspy decided to visit one of the most popular hang out spots in Worcester.

All Bar One is located on the swanky Cathedral Square.

I feel that this attractive and modern square has breathed a new life into Worcester, not just by giving the skate boarders somewhere to hang out but by providing a conveniently placed hub of restaurants and bars.

All Bar One is a favourite spot of mine. It is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat with a friend (the tapas boards are brilliant) or kick off a night out.

The cocktails are in my opinion the best in town. There is a huge range of them as well as a huge list of wines and beers.

As soon as I tried the espresso Martini I knew I'd be a life-long fan, and I still order it nearly every time I'm in there. They also do a cocktail making masterclass which I have tried. This is perfect for a hen party. Be warned however, these cocktails can be dangerous. A few sips of a Porn Star Martini and a friend of mine was falling out the door one night.

This Saturday lunch time though, I didn't get up to any of those antics and popped in with a different friend for a good catch up. I had normal a latte and it's a shame I didn't realise they do a range of jazzed up ones such as vanilla, caramel and hazelnut. If I had known I would have had one of these, but probably wouldn't have bothered trying the turmeric latte. Because it sounds awful.

I ordered the very tempting plant based burger which came with chips.

It was one of the best vegan burgers I have had. Its texture is so similar to meat and the dairy free Gouda style cheese alternative, vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and crispy onions work really well together. It's full of flavour and has everything you need in a good burger, the different textures make it extra satisfying and the dairy free cheese is actually delicious, unlike most pretend cheeses which are honestly terrible.

To make it even better it comes in a seeded brioche bun. I really enjoyed my meal and the staff were very pleasant.

There is a good deal of choice on the menu. It's ideal for people who are on a diet as there is a range of lighter meals and calorie counted ones.

The decor is great, the seating is comfortable and the food is decent. The bill for two drinks and one meal came to £18.10, which I can't complain about.

Mainly I just like All Bar One for its cool vibe. I always go there with my friends and I particularly like it in the summer when you can sit outside and take in one of Worcester's most buzzing areas. It's a great place to socialise, have some nice drinks and a good laugh. Not everyone wants pop music splitting their ear drums open on a night out.

And ok, maybe not everyone wants to see girls knocking back the cocktails, getting into a state and falling over, at three o'clock in the afternoon. But that was an isolated incident. I promise.
