BROMSGROVE RFC narrowly missed out on an away win in the Midlands Premier League against Sheffield RFU.
The Boars lost 18-12 despite tries from Sam Bastock and Ed Spalding plus a conversion from Will Harris.
The result left them fourth in the league, five points behind Sheffield.
