A MUM made threats and damaged the door of the former friend who had called her a fat 'crack head'.

Natalie Brown damaged the door of Laura Parry after a row on Facebook but the victim managed to film the incident on her mobile phone.

The 32-year-old of Cedar Avenue, Brickfields, Worcester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and criminal damage when she appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The charges followed an incident at the city home of Miss Parry in the early hours of November 22 last year.

Emily Clewer, prosecuting, said the two women had been friends but their friendship became 'somewhat strained'.

Miss Clewer said: "Miss Parry was asleep and woken up by loud banging on her front door and shouting coming from Miss Brown.

"Miss Parry started to record what was happening on her phone."

Brown swore at Miss Parry and called her 'soppy', kicking the bottom half of the front door until it cracked, the court heard.

Brown had three previous convictions for seven offences but 'nothing recent'.

Belinda Ariss, defending, said it had been a fairly short friendship of less than 12 months.

Mrs Ariss said the women fell out because Miss Parry's ex, the father of her children, is dating one of Brown's friends.

"Miss Parry seems to have taken exception to that" said Mrs Ariss.

She said there had been some 'name calling on Facebook'. Mrs Ariss said Miss Parry had called her client a 'crack head' and also 'whomping' which she described as 'another word for being overweight'.

"She accepts she kicked the door in temper and accepts shouting she is going to get her and such like" said Mrs Ariss.

Deputy district judge Steven Jonas said: "It was a nasty incident and completely unnecessary. It must have been very frightening for Miss Parry."

In her favour he said it was 'a long time since you were last in trouble'.

The judge imposed a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered her to pay £100 compensation to Fortis Living for the damaged door, £135 court costs and a victim surcharge of £21.
