STAFF and pupils are proud to regain a good Ofsted report.

Ofsted paid a visit to Crowle CE First School, in School Lane, in October 2019.

Since the last inspection in 2014, a new headteacher, Martina Abbott, joined the school in January 2018.

Many changes occurred as part of this transition to a new leadership, including a new reading/writing curriculum, further interventions introduced to ensure children are supported through all stages of learning, Inspire Workshops introduced in order for parents to participate in lessons with their children and to recognise the end of year expectations for their child.

Mrs Abbott said: “I am, as always, so proud of the children, staff, parents and governors at Crowle First School - their constant hard work and commitment to every child, has been recognised and celebrated.

"As a small school we work tirelessly with every child in order for them to reach their full academic potential.

"However, we also realise that this is only achieved when a child feels happy, secure and relaxed in the setting."
