A NEW community venture has launched for the over 50s.
Ronkswood community centre has a new initiative called O,W,LL - Older Wiser and Loving Life.
Lisa Craven, the project lead and community champion said: “The project itself is aimed at people over 50 in the Ronkswood area but not exclusively.

“The project began in Sept 2019 when a steering group was formed. The group suggested the types of sessions they would like to provide three times weekly.
“Currently we have a ‘Meet & Eat ‘ twice monthly on Tuesday’s 12pm-2pm for just £3.50 for a freshly cooked two course meal.
“On Wednesday’s 10.30am-12.30pm we have a ‘Coffee, Bingo and Quiz’ morning and on Friday’s we deliver ‘Linedancing’ 11am-12pm followed by coffee and cake for just £2.50.”
