AN alcoholic urinated in a police van and spat at an officer.

Leanne Reeve who pleaded guilty to criminal damage at The Lyppard Grange pub and assault suffers from psychosis and “drinks to excess” every day, the court heard.

Michael McDonagh, of Brookthorpe, Gloucester, pleaded guilty to stealing more than 20 tote boxes worth £460 from Asda in Pershore on December 17 before stealing 20 more from Halfords in Malvern on the same day.

He was given a two-year community order.
