Ronkswood Co-op will be closed for two weeks for a £625,000 refurbishment.

The Lichfield Avenue store is expected to close on 25 February for two weeks whilst the work takes place.

Dan Brewer, Store Manager, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to invest such a significant amount in our Ronkswood store – it really will have a great new look and range, and I am confident it will enable the Co-op to better serve its community.

Our aim to establish the store at the heart of local life – it is all about getting closer to our members and customers, providing what they want, need and care about, conveniently. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience to our customers during our temporary closure, and look forward to welcoming customers old and new into their new-look Co-op store.

“We also want customers to know that they can become a co-owner and member of their Co-op, and that the Co-op gives back to its Members and the community - our Members help us to make a difference locally, raising money for local causes simply by swiping their Membership card when they shop with us.“
