Forget Eastenders. They shout a great deal, usually at each other, and there's not much singing.

The WestEnders, on the other hand, are full of song and they are heading to The Swan Theatre in Worcester.

In fact, they will present favourites from ‘The World’s Greatest Musicals’ and they say there are "delighted" to be bringing their show to Worcester, this March

A spokesman said: "The success and popularity of the musical over the past fifty years has been the inspiration behind the WestEnders.

"The WestEnders features six talented performers who between them have appeared in over twenty of the most popular and prestigious West End shows of the last decade, and who want to share their passion and love of the West End and hear iconic songs from ‘The World’s Greatest Musicals’, including Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, Chicago, Blood Brothers, Hamilton, and of course the world’s most popular musical, Les Misérables."

The spokesman added: "Over the last decade they have established themselves as one of the country’s leading musical theatre groups. Come and join them for a night in the West End at the Swan Theatre on Saturday March 14.

"Hear the passion, hear the music, hear the people sing."

The WestEnders were formed around 10 years ago by Frances Fry, Linda Jarvis, Jill Nalder, John Osbaldeston, & Jae Alexander.

The spokesman added: We tour the UK with our musical theatre and rarlier this year we took our show to Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and Austria, performing for audiences of up to 1800 people."
