Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Worcestershire County Council have announced that entries are now open for the popular Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards 2020.

Local apprentices, apprenticeship employers, schools, careers leads and training providers in Worcestershire are being encouraged to submit their nominations via the online nomination process, before the July 12 deadline.

This year’s Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards will mark the seventh year of the prestigious awards, having consistently attracted audiences of more than 300 people.

The Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards 2020 will celebrate the most successful apprentices, schools, careers leads, training providers and apprenticeship employers across 12 awards on Thursday, November 12, at the Tree Tops Pavilion in West Midland Safari Park.

Intermediate Level Apprentice of the Year

Advanced Level Apprentice of the Year

Higher Level Apprentice of the Year

Employer Awards

Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (less than 50 employees)

Medium Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (50-249 employees)

Large Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (more than 250 employees)

Support Awards

School of the Year

Training Provider of the Year

Careers Lead of the Year

Apprenticeship Champion of the Year

The popular celebration event will culminate in the two illustrious overall awards of ‘Worcestershire Apprenticeship Employer of the Year’, and ‘Worcestershire Apprentice of the Year’.

Gary Woodman, chief executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of nominations for this year’s Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards.

"Each year we see great support and involvement from our local business community for these awards and our ever growing skills network will ensure that we again receive a large number of entries from not just apprentices, but employers, schools and training providers located across the county.”
