WORCESTER MP Robin Walker has been given a new job in yesterday's reshuffle.
Mr Walker tweeted last night to say he was "honoured to be promoted to Minister of State in the Northern Ireland Office."
Mr Walker was previously parliamentary under secretary for Northern Ireland.
In a dramatic day, Mr Walker’s ministerial colleague, Julian Smith, was sacked from his role as Northern Ireland secretary and replaced with Brandon Lewis.
Other shock news on a day of ins and outs was fellow Worcestershire MP Sajid Javid who quit his role as Chancellor and resigned from the government less than seven months into the job.
It was the first cabinet reshuffle by Mr Johnson since the Conservatives won the election in December.
