Worcester Operatic And Dramatic are preparing for their next production, which will be Kipps.
It's already been a busy time for WODS
The society produces three shows a year at the Swan theatre . The last production was ‘Singin in Rain' in October and Director ,Ann Turner chose Dementia UK as the charity to support from a raffle .
Members of the cast recently presented Anna McNee ,from Dementia UK , with a cheque for £1100.
Anna said: "Living with dementia can be a difficult and lonely experience . The support of our Admiral nurses gives a lifeline to families affected by dementia and the invaluable support of the WODS means that we can provide this life changing support to even more families who need it .
Kipps will run at theSwan Theatre in Worcester from April 20 to April 25.
Kipps , the new ‘Half a Sixpence‘ musical is a modern stage version based on the original HG Wells book.
Arthur Kipps is an orphan who dreams of a more fulfilling life, when he unexpectedly inherits a fortune that propelled him into high society .
