Users across the UK are reporting issues with popular social media platform Facebook.
Early reports of the problem emerged at around midday on Sunday, March 22nd, with some users struggling to get on the social media platform.
For others, they had issues loading the page before eventually getting online.

It comes on a day that many are expected to be remaining inside as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The problem with the outage seems to be limited to parts of the UK and India according to DownDetector.

It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
