BIN Collections across Worcestershire have been delayed due to the coronavirus affecting staff within the refuse industry.
Readers have taken to Facebook to share their frustration at being left to deal with overflowing bins.
Darren-Lee Price said: "It’s pretty disgusting seeing we all pay council tax. Warndon looks worse than normal!"
Katie Bradley said: "The tip needs opening so at least people can have an opportunity to clear their own rubbish if they can before it gets too bad."
Jodie Griffin said: "Our bins haven't been emptied either. That's black and green! Maybe they should employ more people just like the supermarkets had to."
Kristy Pocknell said: "Worcester city council need to get a grip on this now or we will be infested with rats and mice. It's disgusting and needs to be sorted."
However, others were sympathetic to the strain faced by refuse collectors and the city council during these unprecedented times.
Fi Turbitt said: "People give these guys a break they are working on reduced staff I would imagine and are plodding along just like the rest of us! So what if we’ve got bins stacking up it’s not the biggest concern going on right now, they will get around to clearing them up soon."
Sally Carpenter said: "I believe they are doing a fantastic job with limited resources. They are a key resource perhaps people should appreciate that, and do their bit with responsible disposing."

Ceri Marie said: "The tips are shut so the staff can be re-deployed to help with bin collections. But in every area of life people are sick or self-isolating because of other sick people in their home; everyone is working as hard as they can to manage the situation in the best way with the available resources."
Mandy Morris simply said every dustbin man/woman are worth their weight in gold.
