A SECOND national round of applause will be taking place this evening to say thanks to all the amazing key workers working tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic.
Last Thursday the streets of Worcester were filled with the sounds of people cheering and applauding our amazing NHS workers for all their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
This Thursday the applause will be directed at everyone with key worker status who are risking their lives to keep us all safe and well.
Including, police, refuse workers, fire fighters, care workers, support workers, teachers, nursery staff, shop workers, delivery drivers and many more.
We really wouldn't be able to cope without these unsung heroes.
Organisers of 'Clap for our Carers' are asking everyone that can to clap at 8pm tonight, to join in applauding our workers from doorsteps, balconies or windows.
