A PUB has turned blue to support the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.
Daryl Billing, the landlord from The Real Ale Tavern in Bewdley shown his support last night (Thursday) by turning the outside of the pub blue.
This coincided with Clap For Our Carers at 8pm.
Mr Billing said: “We were inspired by seeing all the heroic efforts being put in particularly by the NHS staff at the forefront of this but also all the other key workers who are out there helping the nation fight Covid-19.
“Bewdley is a fantastic community and we can see everyone pulling together to keep each other safe but also helping those who are isolated, lonely or vulnerable so the singer is to try to boast morale and lift some spirits for those living in town.”
The pub will light up and remain blue every night until “we’re on the other side of this.”
