A Worcester school girl has taken it upon herself to spread some cheer to her neighbourhood.
Olivia Hinton, 8, told her mum she wanted to help people smile during this sad time.
The Hindlip First School pupil asked mum Louise Hinton for some empty jars to decorate.
Olivia said: "At this sad time a lot of us needs a smile on our faces a lot of us cant see family and friends. So I decided to paint some jars and give them to people to make them happy.
"Yesterday we took 18 jars to Fernhill House a local care home. The residents were over the moon with them and it definitely put a smile on their faces.
"Now I am making lots more!"
