HUNDREDS of people gathered to remember loved ones and see the St Richard's Hospice Lights of Love switch-on in Worcester.
On Friday night, a record number crowded around the Christmas tree at St Andrew's Spire in Deansway to see actor and Herefordshire resident John Challis - who plays Boycie in the Green, Green Grass and Only Fools and Horses - turn the lights on.
Alison Weston, St Richard's Hospice community fund-raiser, said: "It went really well and we probably had a record number of people with around 850 at the switch-on and a full Cathedral.
