A TRAFFIC light on a city road has been damaged by a punch.
The light - on Bridge Street - was punched at around 8pm on Tuesday (April 28).
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "An unknown male approached the traffic light on his bike and for no apparent reason, he has started to punch the bottom green traffic light, resulting in it becoming disconnected from the carcass and left dangling."
The suspect is described by police - who released the information today - as a white male, around 18-years-of-age, of slim build and was seen wearing a blue body warmer and flat cap.
