A DOG has been rescued after falling 30ft down a well shaft.
Fire service crews from Llanfyllin and Shrewsbury were called out to Llanymynech on Monday morning to rescue the dog, who was named Tess.
Miraculously Tess has emerged from the incident unscathed and with no injuries.
A spokesman for Llanfyllin Fire Station said: "Fantastic result. Poor Tess the dog fell down 30ft well shaft in Llanymynech!
"Rescued and uninjured by two crews from Llanfyllin and two crews from Shrewsbury."
